RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”

Charter Coding – Built to MCA Category 2 (not in class).

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• The hull is a composite construction, moulded using a polyester gelcoat and vinylester laminating resin.
• Incorporating a high-tech custom monolithic (single skin) E-glass/Carbon/Kevlar composite laminate, specially designed by High Modulus, one of the world leaders in composite yacht design.
• The composite hull skin is reinforced with a matrix of stringers and floors both above and below the waterline.
• Bulkheads are plywood.
• Limber holes and/or tubes are installed at appropriate points.
• Stringers, bulkhead landings, and floors are formed over a non-structural inert polyurethane foam.
• ‘White’ hull with cove line and double boot top lines in ‘Black.’
• Boat lifted for hull work. Lightly blasted then sanded for new coatings of epoxy and antifoul, repair to hull gelcoat blemishes, and polished (December 2021). Polished again 2023.
• Superstructure compound/cut and wax (December 2021).
• Works to topsides, including restoring colour to boot top and cove lines, plus wax polish (December 2021).
• Moulded deck in GRP with balsa core.

• The deck edge incorporates a bulwark, which facilitates relatively flat side decks.
• The top of the bulwark is a clean GRP finish with a modern and stylish ‘rolled edge’ that enhances the yacht’s visual appearance with a graceful sheer line.
• Repaint of white non-slip coating to coachroof (January 2022).
• The stern design incorporates a recessed platform, which is especially useful for bathing/boarding and is finished with laid teak.
• Fold down stainless-steel bathing/boarding ladder with oval tube treads and four moulded GRP steps, trimmed with teak treads, incorporated into the transom for easy access to the stern deck.
• The ladder is fitted with a lanyard and retaining pin for retrieval/stowage.
• New vinyl ROCAS signage (January 2022).

Keel & Rudder:

• High performance bulb (HPB) external lead keel.
• Keel studs examined, new nuts fitted and torqued to correct settings (December 2021).
• Fully protected skeg-hung rudder.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• Perkins Sabre M185C, 6-cylinder, turbo-charged diesel engine - maximum 136kW (187hp) at 2,100rpm.
• Engine and generator Racor filters parallel plumbed, so they can be run as a single unit.

Maintenance & Performance:

• Full engine and gearbox service February 2024.
• Engine serviced - turbo, air filter, etc. (2023).
• Engine serviced - and engine heat exchanger inspected and refitted with new gaskets (January 2022).

• Three plastic (Polyethylene) toilet-holding tanks installed for each head and plumbed for gravity discharge with additional ability to pump out from deck.
• Replacement seacock for the forward holding tank discharge (December 2021).
• Tanks fitted with Wema electric capacity gauges.
• Showers and washbasins discharge into two sump tanks, one forward and one aft, which then evacuate via a dedicated electric Whale ‘Gulper’ pump directly overboard.

• Pump system serviced (January 2022).
