Construction

 

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorized B– “Offshore”

 

  • All necessary works carried out to enable the vessel to be coded for commercial charter to Cat B (60 miles from safe haven) including stability test. The certificate has now expired but can be reinstated by the new owner with little effort.

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • Steel hull and superstructure.
  • Multichine construction which has been stiffened with frames, flat stringers and supports.
  • Waterline: below 6mm plate, above 5mm plate, superstructure 4mm and Keel 10mm (surveyors report 2013).
  • Teak decking on; bathing platform, cockpit sole, side decks, foredeck, flybridge and locker tops.
  • Stainless steel rubbing stake and capping rail.
  • Heavy 6cm thick rock wool and alupur 30zk foil insulation for hull, superstructure and decks.
  • Double glazed heavy duty aluminium window frames with tinted glass.
  • 18 x Stainless steel port holes of which 12 open.
  • Pilothouse doors and stern door are made from aluminium.
  • Stainless steel guard rails.
  • Radar arch is made from aluminium and painted in white.

Engine & Gearboxes:

  • 2 x Vetus Deutz DT67 231hp (total 462hp) six cylinder diesel engines rated @ 2650 rpm.
  • Engines are raw water cooled with heat exchangers, fuel filters and a wet exhaust system.
