Makefast Ltd creates new Superyacht division

Makefast have created the new division – Custom Marine Developments (CMD) to deal with an increased presence in the Superyacht market.

The new division will be headed up by long serving Makefast Employees Jack Miller (Sales and Commercial) and Stuart Bowen (Design and Technical). CMD will operate from a newly acquired 700 M² facility in Mid-Wales near to Makefast’s headquarters. The new site will exclusively design and manufacture products for luxury Superyacht tender builders, Superyacht projects and other custom developments.

The site will also house a newly acquired precision engineering company – namely Precision Engineer. The acquisition means CMD can quickly produce and develop high quality engineered solutions.

CMD’s new facility will enable Makefast to cement its place as the premier supplier to Superyacht tender builders, and in addition develop its Superyacht business. CMD works closely with many leading superyacht design houses, superyacht management services, as well as boatyards to provide innovative engineered solutions to realise any client's imagination. Each solution is designed, engineered, manufactured and serviced to the highest levels.

CMD have a busy 12 months ahead, supplying products to 2018/19’s most talked about and prestigious Superyacht projects.

CMD will be exhibiting at Monaco Yacht show as well as in the Superyacht Pavilion at METS in November. Go to CMD.Makefast.com for more information
