An
avid boater since the age of 10, building a 14’ hydroplane in the
basement of his family’s house, his love for the sea has not been
diminished to this day. While living, and working in the advertising
business in Sydney and Melbourne Australia, he crewed on 5 Sydney to
Hobart races. After several years in Paris and London, he returned to
the United States where he served as President of Windstar Sail Cruises.
Having
been involved with the construction of the Windstar Ships, combined
with his expensive knowledge of pleasure yachts and the marine industry,
Ken is a distinct asset to QPS and our customers. Since leaving
Windstar, he has been the CEO of an international building products
manufacturing company. With offices and factories in China, Indonesia,
Brazil and Argentina, his domestic and international business experience
is comprehensive.
Ken
received his undergraduate degree from MIT in Architecture and Civil
Engineering and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He holds a United
States Coast Guard 100 Ton Masters License with Sail and Towing
endorsements and is a licensed Florida Yacht Broker.
