The 509 was the flagship of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey range throughout its build period, and received countless accolades for its effortless blend of style, performance and comfort. The Phillipe Briand hull provided a re-assuring foundation for long distance cruising, introducing a hull chine for both stability and comfort.

"Nimble Ape II" was supplied by Sea Ventures from new, and has been in continuous private ownership since new. Although built 2011, she is a 2012 model year not launched and commissioned until 2013. Consistent upgrades have been made to the specification, to include a generator, water maker, Air-conditioning and hydro-generator for full off grid capabilities.
