The Gib'Sea 242 has generous internal volume for a boat this length giving good headroom, galley, chart table and separate head with chemical toilet. Tohatsu 6hp outboard in a well with remote tank. Transportable but a not designed as a trailer sailer the vessel is in storage ashore where it can be viewed by appointment.

GRP construction with fixed fin keel, transom hung rudder with tiller steering and outboard engine mounted in a well.

Mechanicals

2020 Tohatsu 6hp outboard in a well. Last serviced in 2021. 10L remote fuel tank. A single 12V battery (2020) supplies electrical power, this being charged via the outboard and a solar panel.

Rigging & Sails

Fractional Bermudan rig with deck stepped alloy mast and spars, stainless wire standing rigging. Slab reefing mainsail and roller furling Jib.

Accommodation

4 berths with one larger double aft, one V berth in open plan fore peak and a small single in saloon. There is a galley area with single burner gas hob, stainless steel sink, with manual cold water from an integral water tank, and ample stowage space. Enclosed heads area, with chemical toilet and wash hand basin. Central dining table with folding leaf on starboard side.
