Managing director of Legend Yachts UK Ltd, Nick Edgington (son of former Opal Marine director, Bruce), is pleased to announce the company’s appointment as sole distributor of Legend Yachts in the UK & Ireland.
The Yachts range from 27’ – 50’ with the 27’, 33’, new 37’ and 40’ all available with bilge keels, making them perfectly suited to the UK’s tidal waters.
Legend Yachts UK Ltd will be based at the ‘home’ of Legend, Sparkes Marina, at the entrance to Chichester Harbour which is the ideal location for the commissioning, demonstrating, handing-over and berthing of the entire range.
Hayling Glass Fibre Repairs, with their in-depth knowledge and experience of the brand for over 20 years, will assist Legend Yachts UK Ltd with commissioning and to ensure every boat is faultless upon handover.
Waterside Boat Sales appointment as South Coast dealers will provide extra exposure for the brand. Chris Ibbotson and Marcus Munt (Directors) both have extensive experience of the Legend brand, both in a sales and technical context.
Legend Yachts (known elsewhere as Hunter Yachts) have been manufactured in Alachua, Florida since 1973. The facility and the construction methods have been consistently improved over this time. Marlow, long established builders of world famous superyachts, now put a big emphasis on manufacturing a strong, comfortable, modern and easy to sail yacht.
The award winning 33’ and new 37’ have been ordered by Legend Yachts UK Ltd and should be available at Sparkes Marina for viewing and demonstrations by the time you read this.
