Corrado Di Majo , one of the two founders of Equinoxe Yachts, has one Ostar - the legendary transatlantic solo race from England to the USA -, three Whitbreads - the crewed round-the-world race, now known as the Volvo Ocean Race - and numerous Atlantic crossings.
Transforming the passion for sailing into a professional activity for Di Majo is a necessary step and a life choice that materialized in 1986 , when he met Alessandro Ussi, top athlete of the Italian Athletics National Team, with whom he founded Equinoxe Yachts.
Over the course of these three decades Equinoxe Yachts has successfully developed two business lines:

In three decades Equinoxe Yachts has established itself as an Italian reference point in the international nautical brokerage market; was one of the first members of Myba, the world organization that brings together the best international brokers, and since its birth has been part of Confindustria Nautica, the association that collects the excellence of the Italian nautical industry, still the first in the world with 40% of global superyacht production.
In collaboration with some of the best Italian designers, first of all Nauta Yachts, Equinoxe has created highly successful sailing yachts as general contractor and project manager , following the complete design, construction and delivery process on behalf of its customers.
