Salpa Boats, an Italian yacht and motorboat manufacturer, was founded by Francesco Lombardo in 1980. Recognised for his passion for the sea and boat construction, Lombardo engaged his flairs to establish the Salpa shipyard in Naples. Over the years, the industry has expanded dramatically, establishing a distinguished reputation for crafting beautifully designed, innovative, and reliable boat models.
Pushing beyond the Naples location, the company shifted its operation centre in 1995 to Mondolfo, which still remains its primary manufacturing hub till this day. In the new location, Salpa stepped up its game with larger, modernised production areas equipped with cutting-edge equipment to achieve higher production standards. Ever since, Salpa has been consistently producing and delivering boats that showcase the exquisite craftsmanship characteristic of Italian boat manufacturers.
Today, Salpa has extensively broadened its reach, supplying more than 6,000 boats worldwide. This was possible by prioritising constant research and technological advancements. They still stay true to their philosophy of producing boats with high aesthetic value that combine performance, comfort, and safety seamlessly. With this, Salpa has managed to retain its status as a leading competitive player in the boating industry, creating a lasting impression with its classic, powerful, and elegant boat designs.
