Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• GRP hull, by the hand laying-up method, using alternate layers of mat and roving. Stiffeners are laid up over foam cores and reinforced with unidirectional glass. Structural bulkheads are of marine grade water-proof plywood laminated to hull and deck. Engine beds are GRP with steel inserts. The mast is stepped through the deck onto a metal mast step. Laminated reinforcements on the bulkhead for the stainless-steel chain plates.
• White hull with blue stripes.
• Deck is made of foam cored GRP sandwich construction. Single laminate with aluminium back-up plates under deck fittings.
• Teak laid deck – 2019.
• Anodized aluminium toe-rail.
• Pulpit, pushpit and lifeline stanchions and stainless wire lifelines.

Keel & Rudder:

• Laminar flow bulb keel draft 3.1m.
• Ballast keel is a lead casting with antimony. Cast in keel bolts of high tensile stainless-steel.
• Ballast 10,350kg.
• Spade rudder of foam filled GRP with high tensile tubular stainless-steel stock, supported by two roller bearings.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• Volvo Penta D4 270 diesel engine – new 2021.
• New cockpit panel, incl. electronic Volvo throttle control – 2021.
• 4 x Racor fuel filters – 3 for main engine, 1 for generator.

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours – approx. 650 as of January 2025.
• Engine service planned for February 2025.
• Cruising speed – approx. 8 knots @ 1800rpm.
• Maximum speed – approx. 9.5 knots @ 2200rpm.
• Fuel consumption at cruising speed – approx. 25 litres per hour.
• Range @ cruising speed – approx. 320Nm.

Battery Banks:

• Engine and service batteries 24v – all new 2024.
• 8 x GreenPower GP120 12v, 120Ah service batteries.
• Varta ProMotive heavy duty starting batteries for engine and generator.

Battery Chargers:

• Chargers Nº 1: Mastervolt Chargemaster Plus 24/60-3, 24v 60A.
• Charger Nº 2: Mastervolt 24v / 60A.
• Charger Nº 3: Mastervolt Chargemaster 12/35-3 12v 35A.

Alternators:

• 24v Mastervolt alternator – new 2021 for charging the service batteries.
• Volvo alternator on engine to charge the engine starting battery.

Generator:

• Fischer Panda 8.3 kVA 50Hz with sound box – new 2021.
• Installed aft of main engine.
• Generator hours: 130 as of January 2025.

Shore Power:

• 220v 25A/15A with transformer 3 KVA and 220v outlets.

Plumbing Systems

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

• Flojet electric freshwater pump.
• 220v water heater.

Watermaker:

• Selmar watermaker – new 2021.
• Control panel at chart table.
• Unit and filters at focsle.

Bilge Pumps:

• 2 x electric bilge pumps in saloon bilge, one Rule auto bilge pump and one Seaflo 20Amp, 12-24v DC bilge pump.
• 2 x other electric bilge pumps, one in engine area and one forward.
• 2 x manual bilge pumps, one at cockpit by helm, one inside.

Tankage

Fuel:

• 1,000 litres in 4 stainless steel tanks.

Fresh Water:

• 1,050 litres in 5 stainless steel tanks. One filler line from deck to valve chest.
• Tank vent pipes drain to galley sink.
• New tank level indicators for fuel and water – 2021.

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• 3 x local sump tanks at each shower area with electric pump out.

Fo´c´sle:

• Single pipe cot on starboard.

Starboard Guest Cabin:

• Upper and lower single berths outboard (upper berth is Pullman style).
• Lockers outboard of upper berth.
• Hanging locker and drawers forward. Locker on centreline bulkhead.
• Ensuite bathroom forward with toilet, sink and shower.

Port Guest Cabin:

• Upper and lower single berths outboard (upper berth is Pullman style).
