Morfran is a well-equipped and maintained Maxi 1000 built in 1995 to high Swedish standards. I am the second owner and have sailed her since 2001.
• Capable of fast, short-handed passage making, with self-tacking jib and all controls led to the cockpit.
• Rare shallow draught wing keel (1.43m) which allows access to many interesting and attractive locations. With well-engineered Yacht Leg Company legs, she has been regularly dried out on sheltered sandy beaches on both sides of the Channel, clear of salt-grass beds.
• The Pelle Petterson keel design means that there is no significant loss of performance compared with the standard (1.70m) keel.
• Very well finished and comfortable cruising interior in cherry wood joinery.
• The yacht is for sale as we are not able to get the use we would like.
