The Hunter Horizon 272 is a superb family cruising yacht. With a surprising amount of space accommodating 4 + berths, separate heads & galley with oven hob, sink & refrigerated cool box, this boat packs quite a huge amount into her size. She also houses a separate navigation station with a chart table. Her saloon is light & airy thanks to the numerous windows & access to her saloon is protected by the spray hood. On deck, she has a good sized cockpit with engine controls and tiller steering & she is designed to be easy to sail with a self-tacking furling Jib and all lines led aft to the cockpit.
This boat has been in the same Ownership for over 20 years and has been regularly updated. Recent additions include in 2023 new sails, new lazyjacks system, new batteries and new standing rigging and in 2024 it had a new spray hood. In addition, in 2009 it had a new Beta 16 HP engine fitted to upgrade from the original and it has previously been copper coated. This is a great, entry level cruiser that can accommodate all the family & is sure to provide a great deal of fun for everyone.
In 2022 it had an insurance survey completed, which is available to interested parties. Nearly all the recommendations have been subsequently carried out, but the report did find some evidence of Blisters in the hull, but these have never affected the boat in any way.
