CR Yachts is a prestigious and reputable yacht manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for crafting high-quality sailboats. The company was established in 1975 in Sweden, by two brothers, Christer and Rolf Magnusson. Originally, the manufacturing base was placed in Björlanda Kile, just north of Gothenburg. In 1995, the Magnusson brothers decided to develop their line of boats under the brand name CR Yachts, separating from Hallberg-Rassy entirely. At the same time, they decided to relocate their base to Kungsviken, on the Swedish island Orust. From their new base, they have continued with the production of premium quality cruiser-racers that are versatile and robust, designed to withstand the harsh Scandinavian seas while offering comfort and functional layouts.
Today, CR Yachts is revered across the globe for its innovative designs, superior build quality, and exceptional attention to detail. They offer a range of craft from 34 to 44 feet long, each embodying the brand's commitment to durable construction and comfortable interiors. Their preferred design style is a mix of traditional and contemporary, manufacturing semi-custom yachts that are renowned for teak woodwork, exceptional headroom, and overall practicality.
