This 1954 Chris-Craft Sportsman 17 is a highly original example that has been exceptionally well cared for throughout its life. Significant maintenance and restoration work have been completed, making it an excellent user boat that is ready to be enjoyed.
The bottom has been professionally maintained, is tight, and swells up quickly. The upholstery and chrome remain in good condition and present well, making them fully serviceable as-is. In 2022, the boat was sanded and re-varnished, and the waterline striping was refinished.
The boat was last used in the water in 2025 and ran great. It is in excellent overall condition for its age, with no known areas of rot. Included is a quality bunk trailer with custom-built guide rails designed specifically for the boat. The trailer is roadworthy and ready to travel.
