The cooperative offered: an excellently maintained Bavaria 42-3from 2000, a spacious and stable sailing yacht that offers both comfort and sailing pleasure. At 12.95 meters long and 3.95 meters wide, the yacht has a rounded hull that guarantees stability at sea, ideal for sailing on the North Sea, the Wadden Sea, and inland waterways.
The outer deck and cockpit are spacious. A comfortable, large steering wheel, generous seating, and a teak cabinet with plenty of relaxing lines make for enjoyable moments with family and friends. The yacht is equipped with a Zwempform with a swim ladder, an electric anchor, and a 20 kg Rocna anchor with 35 meters of chain. The teak cockpit deck (2023) adds extra luxury, while the self-draining cockpit ensures comfort and safety.
Inside, the Bavaria 42-3 boasts a bright and functional layout with 200 cm of standing headroom. The saloon comprises a spacious living room and galley, three cabins with large double berths, and additional sleeping quarters for four guests. The interior is warmly decorated with classic wood fabrics and new Yellow/Brown fabrics (2022). The kitchen is equipped with gas stoves, an oven, and an electric boiler, and comfort is enhanced by Webasto hot-air heating. Two hand toilets and an indoor shower ensure a longer and more comfortable stay on board, even with guests on board.
Technically, the Bavaria is a fine yacht. It is equipped with a fractional rig on an aluminum mast with rod stays, a large van Elvström sail (2020, 43.4 m²), a genoa 2 (2021, 56 m²), a jib (2021, 40.7 m²), and a gennaker. The Furlex 30 roller furling system and the manual self-draining lines make handling easy.
The controllable Volvo Penta MD22 L diesel engine (50 hp) with saildrive and a folding lever has a comfortable operating speed of 6-7 buttons. The engine is newly built, and the saildrive manual (2022) is included.
The antifouling will be on the market in 2025 (Self-sharpening International) and the romping is free of osmosis.
