Barbican 33 "Nomad" | Long Keel Cutter | Volvo Penta D1-30 | Well Maintained
Indigo Yachting is delighted to list the Barbican 33 “Nomad” – a classic, long-keel cutter designed by Maurice Griffiths and built by Barbican Yachts in Plymouth. Launched in 1999 and lovingly maintained by just two owners, this is a tough, seaworthy cruiser with a traditional build and excellent offshore pedigree. With solid GRP construction, a newer Volvo Penta engine (2022), and updated navigation gear, she’s ready to go and ideal for coastal hopping or longer bluewater voyages.
Her spacious interior offers accommodation for five, including a Lavac toilet, well-equipped galley, and a cozy saloon with a small burner for warmth. On deck, she boasts a Lofrans manual windlass, cutter rig with slab reefed main, roller furling genoa, sprayhood, cockpit cover, and bimini. “Nomad” is built for comfort and reliability, and she sails beautifully in all conditions.
