Fairlie, United Kingdom
£155,000 GBP
Alaskan Star has been a cherished and much loved member of the family for her current owners since 1978. This beautiful wooden motor yacht presents a unique opportunity to purchase a highly capable design classic and a slice of boat building history. Sleeping six across two cabins her spacious interior is beautifully crafted throughout and is superbly comfortable for long term cruising or indeed full time living aboard.
Grand Banks Yachts were founded in 1956 under the original yard name of American Marine and are still building high quality, beautiful motor yachts today. The 'Alaskan 49' was built by American Marine in their Hong Kong yard featuring Mahogany planking on Yakal frames and is one of the most iconic design classics from the drawing board of renowned Naval Architect Robert Dorris.
'Alaskan Star' is currently stored under cover for the winter in Fairlie Quay's storage facility in Scotland. Please call our Kip Marina office to arrange an appointment to view (be forewarned though there's a good chance she might just steal your heart!)
