Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC and is Category A – “Ocean”.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• White hull with platinum grey cove stripe and two waterline stripes.
• Surface layer on hull of NGA gelcoat.
• Hull treated under waterline with epoxy primer (at build) and antifouling paint. Antifouling last done spring 2022.
• Hull built in a sandwich construction by vacuum infused multi axial glass fibre reinforced epoxy.
• Hull reinforced with longitudinal and transverse floor plate construction supporting keel fittings, mast engine frame, tanks and cabin soles.
• Additional longitudinal reinforcements in the hull as stringers.
• All reinforcements glued and laminated to the hull.
• All main bulkheads and vertical chain plate fittings laminated on both sides to the hull and stringer system.
• Deck and coach roof built in sandwich construction with multi-axial glass fibre reinforced epoxy and divinycell core material. Vacuum infused.
• Hull and deck bolted and glued together.
• Strengthened glass fibre laminate beneath stress areas.
• Solid teak capping fitted with a stainless steel rain on the outside.
• Solid teak laid on deck, coach roof, swim platform and in cockpit area.

Keel & Rudder:

• Cast iron keel with delta formed lead bulb bolted on with acid resistant stainless steel bolts.
• Balanced spade rudder of glass fibre reinforced epoxy with acid resistant solid stainless steel rudderpost.

Engine & Gearboxes:

• One single lever engine control at helm on starboard side.

• Separate fuel filter mounted inside engine compartment above standard filter for easy service.

Alternators:

• 24 V / 65 A alternator for service.
• 12V Volvo alternator for engine battery.

Generator:

• Mastervolt Whisper 6 Ultra diesel generator 6 kW, located in engine room to starboard, with sound shield.

Shore Power:

• Shore supply 230 V (mounted near swim platform), 5 x 220 V outlets and 20m cable.

Plumbing Systems

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

• Sigmar water heater under aft bed.
• Heated via 220V or engine calorifier.
• Fresh water filter in the galley.

Watermaker:

• Spectra Newport 400 MK II watermaker – 2009. Produces approx. 60 litres per hour.

Bilge Pumps:

• Electrical bilge pump, automatic and manual switch.
• Electrical emergency bilge pump.
• Whale manual bilge pump in cockpit.

Tankage

Fuel:

• 714 litres in 3 tanks (1 x day tank and 2 others), all of stainless steel.
• Suction pipe to fuel tank bottom for evacuation of dirt and condensation.

Fresh Water:

• 840 litres total in 3 acid resistant stainless steel tanks (1 under bed in aft cabin, 2 under saloon floor).
• Tanks fitted with inspection hatches and level gauges.

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• 2 x holding tanks 140 litres total (70 litres each), forward and aft.
• Tanks in acid resistant stainless steel with indication lamp showing capacity.
• Holding tanks connected to deck fitting for evacuation ashore.
