Construction
GRP yacht with lifting ballast keel and transom hung rudder with tiller steering. Self draining cockpit with deep and spacious storage locker on starboard side. Removeable cockpit table with leg and base. Table stores neatly in the locker.
Stainless steel bow and stern cockpit rails with stanchions and single set guard-wires for safety. Hull below the waterline was epoxy treated with Gelshield 200 in 2005 and then Copper Coated. There are now a fair number of small blisters on the hull. Hull topsides in white gel.
Mechanicals
Powered by a Tohatsu 9.8hp (2016) outboard engine mounted on a stern bracket. Single lever engine control mounted in the cockpit with electric start, forward and reverse gear and kill switch. Last serviced 2020.
Single 12V battery providing engine start and domestic power. Battery is recharged via engine alternator. 240V Shore power supply with internal cabin sockets. 2 X 12V sockets in addition to this allowing electrical items such as mobile phones and small electric cool boxes to be used when sailing.
Rigging & Spars
Sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped alloy mast, spars and stainless wire standing rigging.
Slab reefing mainsail with Lazy Jack Bag (2018) and roller reefing head sail. Mainsail and genoa are the original sails and said to be in "fair condition".
Accommodation
This vessel offers real living space seldom encountered on a boat this size. Open plan accommodation with large aft berth extending beneath the cockpit sole with hanging space and storage. Forward of this on the port side is a functional galley with stainless steel sink, pressurised fresh water and a 2-burner gas hob. Opposite the galley is a chart table whose lid conceals an insulated icebox.
The saloon has a drop leaved table concealing the lifting keel mechanism. Seating/berths port and starboard of saloon table with cushioned backrests. Fully enclosed aft heads compartment with GRP moulded sink unit and fresh pressurised water. Chemical toilet.
Saloon is bright and well ventilated due the the large sliding companionway hatch, foredeck hatch and numerous portlights. Teak and holly flooring and teak wood work resulting in a warm and welcoming interior. 12V lighting and press on blinds.
