Launched in 2011 ‘Milai’ is a Pogo 40 S² designed by architects Finot/Conq and built by Pogo Structures as a race boat without limitations. ‘Milai’ quickly proved her worthiness on the racecourse with a win in 2012 Transat Quebec-St Malo. She has been campaigned with consistent results both shorthanded and fully crewed and is currently racing in the Globe 40 La Grand Route with notable leg wins. Fast and proven reliability are just two of the key points when considering one of these vintage category Class 40 designs. Milai is the ‘S’ model which has an infused composite structure making for a stiffer lighter structure. With an ergonomic cockpit and deck layout, she is simple to sail single-handed or with crew. She has been consistently maintained and benefiting most recently from a new carbon rig, engine, batteries and some sails. She will make an ideal entry level boat for Class 40 racing or other global challenges. She will be ready to view post-race finish in Lorient March 2023.
