Le bateau est en excellent état. Il y a eu des améliorations continues, par exemple, le moteur date de 2001. Il y a eu de nombreuses modifications, le bateau est maintenant équipé pour la navigation en solitaire. Dit Waarschip 10.10 met scoop tot 10,40 meter is een uitstekende zeiler en ze is zeer zeewaardig. Er is een uitgebreide zeilgarderobe bij deze volledig werfgebouwde boot. De boot is in uitmuntende conditie. Er zijn doorlopend verbeteringen aangebracht, zo is de motor van 2001. Er zijn vele aanpassingen geweest, de boot is nu ingericht voor solozeilen. Door het lichte gewicht, de diepstekende kiel en dito balansroer in combinatie met de prima zeilen, zeilt de "Lightning" uitstekend en zal de sportieve zeiler veel plezier aan deze boot beleven.
