The Westerly Fulmar accommodation offers up to seven berths in two cabins with good headroom throughout (up to 6'3" in saloon).

FORECABIN  -  Offering a large V berth with infill to form a double, beneath berth stowage, hanging locker, shelves, portlights, and opening hatch to foredeck.

HEADS  -  Separate heads compartment to port with marine toilet, washbasin with manually pumped cold water supply, portlight, and useful storage cupboards, complimenting the large hanging locker located opposite to starboard.

SALOON  -  Consisting of settee berths on either side of a fixed table with drop leaves. The port berth converts to form a double, both berths are fitted with removable solid leeboards, and have storage beneath and behind, together with excellent eye-level lockers and shelves.

GALLEY  -  Aft to starboard is the large U-shaped galley, equipped with a Nelson gimballed stainless steel 2-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, refrigerated coolbox, stainless steel sink with manually pumped cold water supply, and excellent storage in a range of cupboards and drawers.

CHART TABLE & QUARTER BERTH  -  Aft to port is the chart table with instrumentation and further useful storage, forward of the large quarter berth which could be considered a cosy double!

GENERAL  -  The interior is fitted out with teak cabinetry, teak and holly sole boards, and cotton upholstery with complimenting curtains, all combining to create a welcoming and homely feel. 

Mechanical Systems

Located abaft the companionway, Bukh DV20 two-cylinder 20hp diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Plastic 42L fuel tank. Shaft drive (new cutlass bearing March 2021) to two-bladed fixed propeller. 

The engine is in good cosmetic condition and was last serviced by her owner in March 2021. 

Electrical Systems

2 x 12v Batteries (separate domestic and engine, both new 2019) charged via the engine alternator (reconditioned 2019). Adverc battery management system. Shorepower system with ring mains and battery charger. Electrical distribution panel with Altus battery condition gauge. Inverter. Full cabin lighting.

Fractionally rigged sloop. Proctor anodised aluminium mast and boom. Spinnaker pole. Rope kicker. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2018). Terylene running rigging (renewed when required). Slab reefing mainsail with lazy jacks and stackpack. Rotostay headsail furling system. 2 x Lewmar 40 sheet winches. 2 x Lewmar 40 ancillary winches. 2 x Lewmar 16 halyard winches.

Westerly Fulmar built by Westerly Marine Contruction in 1980 to a design by Ed Dubois. White GRP hull, superstructure, and non-slip painted decks. Teak rubbing strakes and toe rails.Twin cast iron keels. Tiller steering to spade hung rudder. Aft self-draining cockpit.
