Sally Lightfoot is an incredibly satisfying boat to sail, sneaking along in a light breeze or out in heavy seas – where she has proven to be stronger than her current owners!

We have cruised her to most points in the Solent and to the West Country, where we have lived aboard for 3 or 4 weeks at a time. For a 26 foot boat her accommodation works extremely well, with extra living space found under the full cockpit enclosure. Sally Lightfoot is well equipped for day sailing and extended cruising and has been` continually upgraded (new lines, blocks etc) during our ownership.

Although sad to see her go we are sure she will put a smile on her new owners face.

Brokers Comments

This Cornish Crabber 26 Gaff Cutter is a boat that in our opinion, will really turn heads. With the style & lines of a traditional yacht but the advantages of a GRP hull & modern electronics etc, this boat has a very solid feel to her with a finish & quality that we believe will be hard to beat. With a beautiful Sitka Spruce mast & Bowsprit, coupled with her manual lifting keel, this is a yacht that can take you to anchorages that others would not even dare. Fitted with a Yanmar 3YM20 diesel engine as well as many home comforts including, hot & cold pressurised water, spacious heads & compact yet functional galley, this Cornish Crabber 26 is a boat that will bring a smile to her Crew’s faces. Once you step aboard, it is clear to see that this boat has been built to a very high standard. With Lewmar Winches, Classic looking S/S Portlights & teak trim you can see the craftsmanship & engineering that went into building her. Once in the cabin, the cabinetry is complimented by soft furnishings giving a warm & welcoming feel to her & a feeling of space that is somewhat surprising for a 26 foot boat. This definitely feels like boat that will be a pleasure to spend time aboard. She also has a comprehensive Raymarine electronics suite with 2 plotters, Autopilot, Wind, speed & depth Gauges, so she is ready for her next adventure.

In our opinion, this Cornish Crabber 26 is clearly a boat that has been loved by her first & only owners who have added some great extra features that are sure to be appreciated by her new owners. She was out of the water for her annual 3 months early in 2021 for routine maintenance & servicing & is now currently afloat in Southampton. Viewings can be arranged through Aspire Boat Sales.
