REMARKS

"Maplin Mist" has only had two owners from new, her present owner purchased her in 1986 from an ex employee of Chandler & Smith, the builders, who has purchased as a cancelled order from the builders in 1972. At the time she was in excellent order, her owner has endeavored to keep her that way, she certainly appears very good. She is wintered ashore every year, her mast is lowered and she is fully covered, her rigging is removed for storage. She is regularly painted and varnished to keep her looking smart. The owner is unaware of any areas of concern, nor any cracked ribs, her last survey was in 2001.

"Maplin Mist" has been cruised extensively on the East Coast with trip further afield to Holland and France, she is an easy boat to sail, her owner often sails alone. However he is now 82 so thinks it might be sensible to pass her on to someone younger. Note - many smaller items such as charts will be included!
