S/Y Phoenix was built in 1999/2001 as a Modern Classic to the plans drawn by John Alden in 1931. The construction of the steel hull has been kept as close as possible to the original design and specifications. The original schooner built in 1931 once raced against "America" - and won! This summer S/Y Phoenix made easily 9,5 knots without any effort.

This schooner is an exquisite example of one of the very few Custom John G Alden Schooners that have been built. She has just undergone complete surface exterior and interior refit. S/Y Phoenix has always been used privately, but due to her exceptionally large interior space, she would make a great charter vessel.

S/Y Phoenix wurde 1999/2001 als Modern Classic nach den Plänen von John Alden aus dem Jahr 1931 gebaut.
