Remarks :

COMING TO MARKET VERY SOON ………

Southerly 35RS.  Built in 2005 by Northshore Yachts.  A lovely example of this blue hulled estuary hopping, blue water cruiser with a maximum draft of 2.18m, that at a touch of a button can reduce to 0.7m, allowing access into shallow waters when needed. Sleeps 5 in 2 double cabins plus the saloon, with a ‘proper’ deck saloon dinette. Fabulous and spacious cockpit that you might expect on a 40 foot yacht. ‘Whisky Mac’ couldn’t be easier to sail with its fully battened mainsail and self-tacking headsail, and ideally suited to a couple with ambitious plans or a family for coastal cruising and channel hopping.
We can’t show the boat for a couple of weeks, but feel free to call 01803 834864 for an insight

Manufacturer Provided Description

The new Southerly 35RS with raised saloon seating has been designed with the best possible sailing characteristics for a fast exhilarating sail, with safety and comfort a priority, and simplified handling to minimise effort. Designed by Humphreys Design & Northshore Design Office. The new Southerly 35RS boasts an impressive sail plan; the fractional rig combines a self tacking furling jib and a large powerful mainsail with single line reefing. This ensures the yacht can be easily sailed by two people. For lighter airs, an optional gennaker can be flown from a short, removable bowsprit. The main track sheet is positioned across the cockpit, within easy reach of the helmsman (this can be positioned on the coach roof as an option). Sail Areas
  • Mainsail 33.01 sq m 355 sq ft
  • Self tacking jib 21.36 sq m 230 sq ft
  • Optional gennaker 45.19 sq m 487 sq ft
