English
With one owner from new this Sadler 32 has been used as a day sailer for the past 20 years. The hull has recently been professionally painted to a good standard and antifouled. Work is required to re-step the mast and refit the rudder amongst other things but the boat seems sound and the interior, though a bit cluttered at the moment, looks to be in fair condition for its age. A worthwhile project for someone looking for a tried and tested, capable sea boat with bilge keels giving the option for drying moorings.
Construction
Sadler Yachts were among the pioneers using hull and internal mouldings with foam injected into the spaces in between. This makes for a strong and stiff construction with good levels of noise and thermal insulation. It also provides a high level of buoyancy.
Bilge keels for shallow draft and drying ability. Skeg hung rudder with tiller steering.
Mechanicals
Powered by a Bukh DV20 20hp inboard diesel last serviced 2020. New stainless fuel tank fitted.
