The Compass 34 is a well-proven fast cruiser-racer, with excellent sea-keeping qualities and sturdy construction. Built in Denmark with many similarities in design to the X-yachts stable, only a hand full were built in the late seventies and early 80's all of which are still in circulation. A characteristic feature is the steel matrix reinforcing the hull and tied in with chainplates and mast-step, giving the sort of sturdy build typical in many Scandinavian yachts, designed to stand up to challenging seas.
The yacht is a pleasure to sail, points well, and can be trusted in a blow.
