About this Elan Impression 434

Privately-owned and used Elan Impression 434 in 3-cabin ‘owner’s cabin’ layout, with great cruising spec including SSB and wind-generator. Well priced for quick and simple sale.

Launched in 2007 and remaining in her original private UK-based ownership until 2018, BLUE VELVET has been very lightly used, never chartered and very well maintained. Purchased by her current English owners in mid-2018, she was refitted at a cost of circa Euro 30,000 to prepare her for a cruise down to the Mediterranean and onward to her new and current home in Malta, where she has enjoyed cruising locally around Maltese and Sicilian waters.

BLUE VELVET’s specification highlights include:-

• 3-cabin, 2-heads ‘owner’s layout’ with separate owner’s ensuite heads and shower cabins

• Standard 1.90m draft keel

• Conventional fully battened mainsail

• Tri-radial gennaker with Facnor furler

“With the Impression 434, designer Rob Humphreys has drawn an attractive, purposeful boat that hints at a deck-saloon theme and wears its cruiser label unashamedly. Its high freeboard may increase windage, but it also adds enormously to the interior volume and keeps the decks dry. The hull is uncompromisingly strong, has a seakindly motion, and is capable of carrying realistic payloads.”

“With a clear focus on the cruising concept, a widely recognized designer, and reliable quality of construction, Elan has made a good impression with the 434.”
