1980, COLVIC VICTOR 35, fin, GRP, superb fast motor sailer, packed with upgrades and extras including 47hp Lancing Ford diesel (1996), new mast & boom in 2011, standing rigging 2011, sails new 2009/10, solar panels, plotters, autopilot, Tacktick instruments, self tailing winches, hot water & shower, 6 berths in professionally fitted interior and 2015 survey!

MECHANICAL

Lancing Ford 1.8 47hp inboard diesel engine installed new in 1996. 80 Litre fuel tank with a consumption per hour of around 1.5 Litres at a cruising speed of 6 to 6.5 knots. Indirect cooling. Engine hours 1295. Shaft drive to Brunton Autoprop feathering propeller.

ELECTRICAL

Alternator charging to 3 x 100 Amp AGM domestic batteries and 1 x AGM engine battery. 2 x 150 watt solar panels (300W total) with MPPT controller.

NAVIGATION

Ritchie bulkhead compass, Tacktick echo sounder, log, windspeed and wind direction indicators with remote control. DSC VHF radio, windvane at masthead, Raymarine Axiom 7 plotter at chart table, Garmin GPS Map 751 plotter at wheel, Raymarine EVO autopilot, AIS, radar reflector, clock and barometer, handbearing compass, LED navigation lights, steaming light, LED tri-colour and LED anchor light.

SAFETY

Jackstay lifelines, 2 horseshoe lifebuoys, 3 manual fire extinguishers, 1 auto fire extinguisher to engine compartment, gas & CO detectors, electric bilge pump, 2 manual bilge pumps.

DECK GEAR

Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, wheelhouse (re-built 2006), cockpit canvas windows and back cover, spare cockpit cover, cockpit table, cockpit cushions, boarding ladder, wheel steering, 2 x Lewmar self tailing sheet winches, halyard winches, outboard bracket on pushpit, 35lb CQR anchor with 50m of chain and 20m of warp, Simpson Lawrence manual anchor windlass, 2 boat hooks, 1 patent buoyline feeder, 8 mooring warps and 8 fenders.

SAILS

Slab reefing mainsail (Gowen 2010) with stack pack mainsail cover and lazyjacks. Genoa roller reefing system with furling No 1 Genoa (Gowen 2009). Sails cleaned Dec 2019. Alloy mast & boom renewed in 2011/12. Standing rigging renewed in 2011/12.

DOMESTIC

Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill (gas system professionally installed and checked), water supply to sink 2 tanks totaling 60 gallons. Various pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Ecology drinking water filter. Her separate heads compartment has a Jabsco marine toilet, washbasin and shower with hot water. Hot water is via engine calorifier. Fabric upholstery, teak & holly floors.

ACCOMMODATION:

6 berths including 2 single berths in the separate aft cabin. Her forward cabin has a double vee berth with fitted "Shipshape" bedding included. The main saloon dinette converts to a double berth ( table as infill and a cushion that’s in the “pilot berth”). Further pilot berth beneath cockpit currently used for storage.

OWNERS COMMENTS

Purchased by her present owner in 2005, "Gladys" has cruised extensively around the East Coast, South Coast and Belgium. She has received regular updates and upgrades throughout. Her owner describes her as a comfortable seaboat, surprisingly fast passage maker & relaxing cruising yacht which is absolutely "ready to go".
