About this Dufour 36 Classic

English

Includes Hamble River pontoon berth to 1st December 2020

Under way video available on request

A beautifully well presented Dufour 36 Classic which sleeps eight in the preferred three-cabin layout plus two in the saloon. The current owners purchased her in almost new condition in 2004 and having enjoyed her for 18 years are now selling to explore the rest of the UK on four wheels.

The midships galley of the Dufour 36 Classic opens up the aft area for a cabin without compromising the cockpit and its storage capacity. The 36 Classic gets bonus mileage from this layout by situating the head compartment and a third hanging locker in the area that would otherwise be usurped by the galley. Placing the galley amidships means the least boat-yawing effect.

The Dufour 36 Classic keeps the strong looks of the Dufour classic line with its delicate sheer and balanced, uncropped ends.

Dufour incorporated headroom of six feet, two inches.

The diagonal berth in the forward cabin is a true double and incorporates a nice settee.

Brokers Comments

A much loved, lightly used family cruising yacht.

This Dufour 36 Classic is complete with Suzmar 4 man inflatable dinghy (inflatable floor and keel), plus oars, and if required the use of a Hamble River mooring (river pontoon) free of charge to 1st December 2020. The use of this berth may be extended by separate negotiation with the owner.

CE Category A (Ocean)

British Registered for Secure Transfer of Title

Owners Comments

Mystique has been used as a family sailing boat in the Solent. She has been very lightly used especially in the last few years and almost all of our sailing has been in the Solent.

She is a fabulous and well-built cruising boat and well set up for short-handed sailing, but with very spacious accommodation. Mystique is lots of fun and easy to sail and has provided many memories. She is very well maintained and has been stored ashore each winter. The engine has been serviced annually by a Volvo main dealer and she has been anti-fouled every year. She was due to come out early 2020, but this was delayed due to COVID.

We are giving up boat ownership in the UK, hence the sale

There is a spinnaker pole on the boat, this is not included as it’s not mine! Lifejackets, tools, charts and personal belongings etc on the boat are also not included.

We will include all the engine and boat spares we have as well as poles/boat hooks and flags etc.
