Owner's Comments

'Orla' is a Classic, American ocean going Lafitte 44ft Double Ender, one of only 55 Built, a true ocean going yacht, with head turning classic lines. Many of these yachts have circumnavigated and some more than once.

She is Hull number 37, fully equipped for long passages, strong, safe and comfortably sailed by a crew of two. This is an extraordinary seaworthy vessel. She has a deep safe Cockpit & Grab holds throughout. Built to the highest standard with an interior that just wraps you up.

She has a paper work trail going back to the day she was built, handbooks and manuals for all equipment on-board.

Maintenance levels while under our ownership have been to the highest possible standards. In the last few years the teak deck has been fully renovated. A new more practical anchor locker & two larger gas lockers were designed and fitted to a very high standard.
