About this Pearson Triton

English

This Triton was built in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, and her current owners have been sailing her primarily summers for 20 years, although they have sailed down the Eastern seaboard to Florida and the Bahamas. She is very stable and goes smoothly through the water in all conditions.  Previous owner had entire decks and cockpit re-cored.   She is a customized model with a main cabin liner of wood rather than the standard fiberglass.  Substantial upgrades have been made in her decking, stanchions, hatches, canvas work...the list goes on.  She sleeps 4 below, her galley has a sink, hand pump, Origo stove, propane stove, ice box, and she comes with a manual head.  Considered a "plastic classic" at the 1959 National Boatshow in NY, the Triton is considered a terrific small seaworthy family cruiser!
