The Pacific Seacraft Crealock 37 is regarded as one of the best classic cruisers.  In 1992 the yacht was inducted into the American Sailboat Hall of Fame.  Nalani is a seaworthy handsome boat with the traditional look of a graceful sheer, large bow overhang, and a tall cutter rig.  She can be easily handled by a small crew or single handed.  For coastal or blue water sailing, this cutter with all her accommodations and upgrades makes her versatile and an excellent value!



Construction


Conventional molded fiberglass hull and deck construction with externally mounted Scheel ballast keel. Modified full keel with cutaways forward and aft, skeg-hung rudder. Fully molded interior liner with bulkheads and woodwork. Teak & holly type plywood cabin sole, and painted strip paneling overhead.  The hull-to-deck joint is a reverse flange with overhanging deck, bedded and bolted with teak caprail over. Bronze seacocks. 2019 hull awlgrip (San Mateo Wheet and Marlin Blue).  Copper coat & Barrier coat repaired and restored. Brightwork is 6 coats of Awlspar and 9 coats of Awlbright polyerethane for protection for 5-10 years.

Engine


1986 Westerbeke 4-cyl. diesel, 46 HP. Serial #158445-C901.  3700 hours. FWC via heat exchanger. Hurth gear. Pedestal steering with Morse cables. 1" SS shaft swinging a 3-blade Kiwi composite feathering prop. New fiberglass rudder and stern pulpit built by PSC . Emergency tiller.

Sails and Rigging


Mast is painted aluminum w/single set of spreaders. Deck stepped on SS plate.

Boom is aluminum.

Rigging is 1x19 SS wire w/swage fittings and turnbuckles (upgraded 2011). SS chainplates.

Lewmar Winches:  Two #46 2-speed self-tailing bronze primary winches, One #16 self-tailing and One #16 2-speed bronze halyard winches on mast, One #16 self-tailing bronze main sheet winch on cabintop, Two #16 bronze winches, port and starboard, for staysail sheets.

SS stanchions & vinyl coated lifelines w/gates, port & starboard. SS bow pulpit rail and new SS stern rail by PSC.

Mainsail: by Shurr Sails and fully battened. Double reef points, like-new condition. Old main is serviceable and cut with traditional battens.

Yankee: Roller furled, 2 years old, like-new condition

Staysail: 2 years old, like-new condition, and an older hank-on serviceable staysail.

Working Genoa (100%):  Good condition

140 Genoa in good condition

Storm trysail is in good condition

Tankage


Fuel:  30 gallons in one aluminum tank under cabin sole.

Water: 80 gallons in two fiberglass tanks under forward berth and quarter berth.

Hot Water: 6-gal. tank

Holding:  Fiberglass tank under forward berth.

Electrical


Two battery banks: Ship's service contains 3 AGM Grp 31 batteries below quarter berth. Engine starting bank is also a Grp 31 battery in aft engine space. Alternator charging through an isolator. Newmar electrical panel outboard of chart table.West Marine Inverter. Shore power fitting in aft cockpit coaming.

Accommodations


Berths for 5. Aft of anchor locker is the forward stateroom with offset double berth, outboard locker and shelving, and dressing seat to port. Opening cabintop hatch and 2 opening ports for good ventilation and light.

Next aft to starboard is enclosed head with manual Raritan toilet, SS sink w/pressure hot and cold water and a hand-held shower. Vanity and outboard lockers. Large mirror on aft bulkhead. Grated teak sole and seat. Opening port.

Main cabin is spacious with surround settee/double berth to starboard with collapsible dining table. Followed by the U-shaped Galley: Gimballed Tasco 3-burner stove w/oven. Top-loading icebox w/Seafrost BD12 refrigeration. 12V compressor. Double SS sink w/pressure hot & cold water. Lockers below and outboard.

To port is a settee/single berth with outboard shelving followed by the nav. station featuring cushioned seat, chart table with lift-top, VHF radio and electrical panel outboard. Aft is the single port quarter berth.

The cabin joinery is oiled teak throughout, white overhead and lower bulkheads, tan upholstered cushions, 6 opening ports, and a cabintop hatch. A light and well-ventilated cabin with 6'3" headroom.

Up the companionway steps to the cockpit, which is deep and seats 6+. Pedestal steering w/Destroyer wheel, engine controls, instruments, and compass. Stern deck houses SS ladder and lazarette with LPG tanks. Main traveler is forward of the companionway. Lifelines with gates surround port and starboard side decks leading to the ample foredeck. Windlass is foot controlled and anchor is housed on rollers on pulpit. Molded non-skid in white decks and cabintop to set off her varnished teak caprails and companionway.  A very clean and economical layout with traditional woodwork.

Canvas work includes: Dodger on frame, Bimini on new SS frame, Sail covers, hatch covers, rail covers, winch covers and helm station cover--all 2 years old in very good condition.

Nalani was damaged during Hurricane Michael that swept through Florida's Panhandle in October 2018.  Miller Marine and Emerald Coast Yacht Refinishers made the repairs, paint, and varnishwork . The hull damage was repaired and awlgripped, and below the waterline the scratches were repaired followed by 4 coats of Copper Coat, good for 10 years. Pacific Sea Craft made the new rudder and stern pulpit.
