Tanks:

Fresh water tanks (2), 85 gallons total and cleaned each year, recoated and refastened in 2017.

Fuel tank is aluminum and holds 37 gallons, new in 2010 with new fuel lines.

Accommodations


Sleeps 5.  Starting forward is a wide Pullman type berth to starboard approximately 50' x7'.  A dressing seat, storage lockers and a vanity cabinet with a mirrored door and a hanging locker to port.  (2) opening bronze ports, overhead deck hatch, two reading lights.  Finished off with varnished ceilings and shelf to port.  Next aft is the roomy enclosed head including a Lavac Head (2009), new head hoses in 2009, new pump for shower sump in 2010, teak grate (refinished in 2015), shower, stainless steel vanity sink.

Main cabin has an L shaped settee to starboard with adjustable table, bookshelf on forward bulkhead, enclosed cabinets under starboard rail.  To port is a 6' 4" settee/berth.  Book shelves and lockers are outboard of the settees both port and starboard.  Headroom is 6'4", great ventilation with overhead deck hatch and 6 opening bronze ports with screens.  

NOTE:  Kenlanu is equipped with a diesel fuel Refleks cabin heater that is located in the forward port bulkhead.

Galley


The galley has double stainless steel sinks.  New galley faucet in 2010, fresh water foot pump in 2010.  

NOTE:  Pressure water system disconnected, but still in place.  Hot water heater removed, but all plumbing still in place. The Force 10 3 burner stove with oven was new in 2016.  New propane regulator and hose for galley new in 2016.

The top loading Alder Barbour refrigeration unit was replaced in 2013.  There is a handy trash container and locker located under a chopping block in the counter top.  An additional custom fruit and vegetable rack was installed over the sinks in 2010 as well as the addition of spice racks.

A large chart table with a lift up top and a separate seat is opposite the galley to port.  Easy access to the electrical panel and navigational instruments.  A large 1/4 berth is aft to port.

Mechanical Improvements


New fuel tank in 2010, new fuel lines in 2012, new single lever shift and throttle cables in 2010, new rudder shaft packing in 2010, new exhaust mixing elbow and riser in 2009.

Cape Horn Windvane in2010 leads directly to quadrant.

Tiller steering with Spartan Marine components in 2011. (Merriman pedestal and wheel available.)

Alpha Spectra below decks autopilot rebuilt in 2011 and works perfectly since.

New fixed automatic fire extinguisher in engine room in 2010, new transmission (NOT a rebuilt) in 2016, new cutless bearing in 2016, new propeller shaft in 2016, replaced prop shaft stuffing box packing in 2016

Rigging and Sails


Replaced standing rigging in 2019-2011 using Sta-Lok terminals, replaced running backstays with Dyneema in 2015, replaced chainplates in 2016, all new running rigging in 2009-2010, 110 Yankee by Pope sails in 2010, Staysail by Pope sails in 2011, UK asymmetrical cruising spinnaker and chute in 2010, roller furler for Staysail in 2015, full battened main by North Sails in excellent condition.

NOTE:  All sails washed, checked for wear, and repaired annually.

Electronics/Electrical System


Standard Horizon Eclipse DSC VHF in cockpit wired into chartplotter for GPS positioning for DSC features in 2015, Standard Horizon 390i chart plotter in cockpit in 2012, Vesper Watchmate Vision AIS WiFi wireless transponder wired into chart plotter connects via WiFi to handhelds, such as iPad or iPhone in 2015, Uniden submersible handheld VHF in 2009(working only marginally), New KISS SSB ground plane for Icom M710 SSB radio in 2018, Xantrex Link 20 battery monitor in 2010, OEM LED masthead tricolor with strobe in 2010--replaced with new in the Fall of 2012--(Marine Beam unit in 2018 on board as backup).

LED bulbs for all deck-level running lights, Sensi-bulb LED lights in main cabin in 2011, Marine Beam LED bulbs replaced in most sensi- bulbs in 2017, Nav station white/red Marine Beam LED in 2017, new house batteries in 2016, new starter battery in 2016, new Xantrex 20 amp battery charger in 2012, Soliban 112 watt solar panels on bimini, GSC 170 watt portable panel on spray hood, 282 watt total all in 2015, two MMPT charge controllers for solar panels in 2015.

Safety


New EPIRB in 2018, small drogue: 72" Delta Drogue by  Para Tech, two CO(carbon monoxide) detectors/alarms in 2010, 3/8" nylon jacklines with 1" hollow webbing covers in 2017.  (NOTE:  jacklines rigged on centerline of vessel which is much safer!)

2 West Marine dual 3' and 6' tethers, 4 nylon tethers in 2017, replaced lifelines with Dynema in 2015, safety catches on all main cabin and vee berth lockers in 2010, bilge alert high water alarm in 2018.

Anchors and Windlass:

Lofrans Cayman 1,500 watt electric windlass with foot switch in 2015, washdown pump, quick connect fitting installed in bronze deck fitting, replaced in 2017, S100 Spadel 44 lb anchor with 159' chain and 300' of 5/8" Megabraid in 2015, New Spade aluminum A 100 stern anchor mounted on roller-always at ready in 2015. (NOTE;  this was a warranty replacement by Spade of a 10 year old anchor with showed evidence of galvanic corrosion.), Fortress FX 23 with 15' 3/8" chain and 250' nylon rode in 2013, double stainless steel anchor roller assembly reinforced by master welder in 2016.

Miscellaneous Work


Replaced gaskets in all port lights in 2010, replaced all port light glass with Lexan in 2011, new glass in overhead hatches in 2015, new Chelsea Shipstrike barometer innards in 2009, cleaned and oiled Chelsea Shipstrike clock (done every 5-6 years) in 2010, Tattle tale compass in vee berth in 2010, compass mounted at Nav Station in 2010, lee cloth for port main cabin and all new cushions with microsuede fabris in 2011, fans in main cabin (2) and vee berth (1), custom copper Refleks bulkhead mounted diesel heater with 4 gallon gravity tank in hanging locker, new stereo speakers in main cabin in 2017, removed, refurbished and re-bedded water tank covers in 2017, custom folding swim ladder in 2018, new dodger in 2017.
