About this Feadship Van Lent

English

Completely unique mini Feadship. Total rebuild started in 2007 and was completed 2014 at a cost of around £ 1 million. She is now in a condition it would be very difficult to improve upon - the perfect time to buy.

TIKY is a member of the Feadship Heritage Fleet.

Rebuilt from stem to stern, with high quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Selling with full inventory (backgammon set not included)

Teak decks laid with quality workmanship.

Two sets of lines - winter and summer.

Deck

An aft deck with space for sun loungers and the beautiful varnished wood oval table. A bimini shade can be erected on stainless poles.

A lazarette locker complete with full set of tools and some spares (all being sold with the yacht). Also contains an outboard engine for the smaller of the two tenders.

Side decks give access to the foredeck, where there is additional space for sun lounging when the tender is not on deck. There is a recent life raft (on a rental agreement), and the immaculate windlass system.

The 13' Ribeye tender (with outboard) is launched using the carbon-fiber crane.

There is a nice gangway, which can be either lifted into a vertical position, or removed and safely attached on deck. There is also a side boarding ladder, which is quick and easy to deploy.

There are four chrome searchlights that can be inserted into special mountings.

Various steel sections on the bow were changed for stainless steel to avoid rust problems.

Capping rails and other large sections are varnished to a very high standard, with a German varnish protection system (supposed to last 7 years).

Pilot house

The Pilot house is actually 'convertible' (!) since it can be unbolted and lifted off if so desired. The windows on the aft side of the pilot house can be lowered and raised electrically.

There is an immaculate bridge console with modern instrumentation. The traditional ships compass is original from 1961, functioning and has been swung.

The port side of the pilot house has a bench seat, which has been cleverly designed to extend if needed as an additional pilot berth.

Interior

The interior is all new and is built from American light oak, with teak flooring.

On entering the yacht there is a saloon area that is surprisingly large. It has a comfortable seating area and coffee table. There is a TV.

The space is open plan, with a few steps down to the galley and a cosy dining area. The galley is equipped with induction hob, dish washer, microwave, and two high quality fridges.

The forward cabin has bunks on either side and a good en-suite shower room (wet room). It also contains the washer/dryer machine. Air conditioned. Emergency escape.

There is a guest cabin amidships with two over and under bunks.

The master cabin aft has a large walk-around bed, ample storage, and an en-suite shower room with good size shower.
