The “new era for Legend Yachts” got off to a flying start at SIBS 2014 with the introduction of the latest Glenn Henderson designed Legend 37, making its European debut, alongside the award winning and already very successful Legend 33.
Both boats, standing on their twin bilge keels, were an immediate success; visitors were impressed by the internal space, layout and the quality of the joinery. The unique external features in terms of rig, mainsheet arch and cockpit seating were much appreciated as, for many, was the availability of bilge keels on all models up to 40 feet. As a result, both boats on display had been sold, plus more, by the end of the second day.
Elated MD, Nick Edgington, said as the Show came to a close, “We delighted with our overall result. We have exceeded our target threefold for sales of the 33 and 37 during the Show, plus, we are delighted to report that deposits were taken for other new unseen models in the Legend range. We shall now further cement Legends position as a leading brand at the forthcoming London Boat Show”.
