Ocean Alexander and Christensen Yachts Join Forces to Produce a New 115 Motoryacht

Ocean Alexander, a premier international yacht builder known for its 30 years of engineering excellence, has created an alliance with Christensen Yachts, a renowned American shipyard specializing solely in the manufacture of luxury yachts from 160' to more than 200' , to build the new Ocean Alexander 115 Tri-Level Motoryacht. Construction will take place in Christensen' s Vancouver, Washington shipyard, lending Christensen' s long history of quality construction to the boat' s manufacture. Ocean Alexander recently expanded its product range to include 115' , 125' and 145' yachts, partnering with internationally acclaimed designer Evan K. Marshall. The new 115 Tri-Level Motoryacht will be ABS/MCA certified, and will provide chartering capabilities previously unavailable in any yacht smaller than 130 feet.

"We' re extremely pleased to have entered into this alliance with Christensen Yachts," said John Chueh, President of Ocean Alexander. " They are a highly respected builder throughout the world, and we' re proud to be working with them. The 115 project is only the beginning of cooperation between us, and this alliance can give both companies a competitive edge and lead us to fascinating pportunities we may not have discovered independently of one another. We also see enormous potential benefits to our yacht owners — ultimately our prime focus."

"We feel this alliance will present mutual opportunities in our combined range of sizes, where one client may want to move into the 160' plus range; or down-size from a larger yacht into something requiring less crew," noted Joe Foggia, President and Managing Director of Christensen Yachts, "In this new economy, we feel that this alliance, coupled with our diverse strengths, will allow us to compete more effectively by ensuring better materials buying power, and applying our joint vision of top-quality standards and production techniques carried through the whole product range. In the end, the yachts produced will be of great quality, and will provide enhanced value while commanding reputable re-sale
to our clients."

The new 115 Tri-Level Motoryacht will feature luxury accommodations that rival larger megayachts, including a dining table that seats ten and a helm layout created exclusively for Ocean Alexander. An enormous master stateroom is on deck. Guest accommodations include two VIP cabins with in-line berths and two staterooms with twin berths convertible to queen size. The 115 offers a vast amount of storage for luggage, provisions and other service items, as well as a tender garage and crew quarters for as many as seven.
