Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to six berths in two cabins. In forecabin, V berth with infill and stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. Full width heads compartment with marine toilet and wash basin to port. Good sized hanging locker opposite. In saloon, dinette to port converting to double berth. Settee berth opposite. Fixed table with drop leaves. Chart table to starboard with quarter berth behind and galley opposite. Flavel Vanessa two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Refrigerator. Stainless steel sink. Pressurised water supply. 180 litres freshwater capacity.Taylors paraffin heater. Cream leatherete upholstery with complimenting curtains

 

 

 

Mechanical Systems

Located abaft the companionway. Bukh DV20 twin cylinder 20hp marine diesel engine.   Shaft drive to two bladed propeller. Electric start with emergency hand start capacity. Direct sea water cooled. Single lever Morse control. Engine control panel.  Full engine overhaul 2016.

The engine was last serviced in April 2019 by her current experienced owner(retired engineer). Engine hour gauge is reading approx 1508 from new.The cutlass bearing was last changed in 2012, it appears in good cosmetic condition and has proven reliable under current ownership.

Electrical Systems

2 x 55 amp/hour domestic 12 volt batteries and single 12 volt 75ah starter battery with selector switch charging from alternator on the engine. Switch panel with individually fused switches. 240 volt ring mains.

Spars and Sails

Masthead rigged sloop. Silver anodised aluminum mast and boom by Kemp Spars.  Stainless steel standing rigging (2004) with manual backstay tensioner. Terylene running rigging all led aft to the cockpit.  Spinnaker pole. Bowman behind mast roller reefing mainsail. Bowman headsail furling system. Two Lewmar 40 sheet winches. single Barton 16 halyard winches. Lewmar mainsheet traveller with control lines.

Construction

Built in 1981 by Sadler Yachts to a design by David Sadler. Light blue painted GRP hull. Alloy toe rails. Blue GRP superstructure with non-slip to deck. Cast iron shallow draft twin keels. Skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self draining cockpit. Teak slats to cockpit seat. Self draining gas bottle stowage.  2017 survey.
