Twin Yanmar 4JH45 45hp (Sail Drive)
The 40 interior is based on her predecessor, the Lagoon 39, but with some key refinements. As we have come to expect from Lagoon the saloon and cabins employ plenty of timber to provide a really cosy feeling on board. The cabins are exceptionally spacious and well laid out. Headroom has been increased and careful use of LED mood lighting further improves the ambience on board. The saloon / galley features a large front-opening fridge, an optional top-loading fridge or freezer and a sliding navigator’s seat to provide extra seating around the dining table. A classic Lagoon feature, the galley faces aft to the cockpit for practical and social living.

About this Lagoon 40

Ancasta are delighted to present this fantastic opportunity to purchase a brand new Lagoon 40 as part of our Shared Ownership Program. Enabling you to considerably reduce your upfront and running costs, whilst enjoying a fully managed and serviced boat. We have developed this straight forward, hassle free way of owning a boat, to assist with getting you aboard in a way in which costs and depreciation are in fair proportion to usage.

Be one of four owners on this brand new Lagoon with a low initial deposit of only £30,363 including VAT and monthly payments of £1,305. This amount covers all the costs of owning a boat including; finance repayments, berthing, insurance, servicing, maintenance, winterisation, monthly valet, management and more. We have included in this value, a contingency fund so that you will never be required to reach into your pocket.

The sail area has been significantly increased in comparison with her predecessor, the 39, which in conjunction with some significant weight savings results in a much improved sailing performance in the lighter airs.

Situatating the mast at the centre of gravity of the boat reduces the pitching effect while creating enough space for a self-tacking genoa, so upwind sailing could not be easier.

The increased mast height of the 40 creates an impressive sail area to displacement ration of 4.17, similar to the Lagoon 42. Despite this the boom remains manageably short, which means it's easy to reef and to control in a gybe.
