How does it work?

Take a look at our demo site. This will show you how your website will look as well as giving you a guide for how much text to provide us for each page.

We will need from you;

1. Your company logo - this will appear in the top left of the header.
2. Three images to replace the sample images in the slideshow. These need to be large enough to fill the slideshow area - approximately 940px by 330px.
3. A caption for each of the images in the slideshow (optional).
4. Introductory text / mission statement for the Home page.
5. Text about your company for the About Us page.
6. The contact details that you want displayed on the Contact Us page.
7. At least one article to upload to the News section of the website.

What we will do

1. We will customise a copy of the demo website, putting in your text and images and changing the colours to match your company's style.
2. We will embed an iframe on the Brokerage page to automatically display boats from your account with TheYachtMarket.com.
3. We will set up the website with a full Wordpress Content Management System allowing you to edit all aspects of the site except the Brokerage and Contact Us form.
4. If we're hosting the website for you, we will set up the hosting package and upload your new website to it.
5. If you're using your own website hosting, we will set up the site for you providing you can give us the FTP login details and control panel access.
6. And finally, we will provide you with a fully comprehensive user guide making it easy for you to update the website yourself.

You will need

To operate the Yacht Broker Business Website you will need to have an account set up with TheYachtMarket.com. Please contact our Sales Team who will guide you on which package will be right for you.

You will also need a domain name; this forms the website address that people will use to visit your website. For example: www.yourdomain.com.

If you already have a domain, but no hosting service, then we can repoint the domain at our servers for a small administration fee.

Optional extras

Optional extras can be added to the site and are available upon request. Please contact our Sales Team who will be happy to help.

Web hosting

You can either use your own website hosting (this will need to be Linux based) or we can provide it for you. Our entry level hosting package is £9.99 per month and includes the following:

• WordPress
• 1 MySQL database
• 50 GB web space
• Unlimited monthly data transfer
• 3000 POP 3 email addresses (2 GB each)

We also have higher specification hosting packages available if required.
