What could have been a very basic day boat has been developed into something far more practical by Ocqueteau. The large cockpit with rod holders and gate to the small swim platform gives a feeling of space but security with good deep sides. The cabin is small but perfectly formed being able to be quickly rearranged to provide either crew seat, single berth or cosy one to one dinette. stowage is plentiful and accessible. What a good little pocket cruiser. She was built when they built glass fibre boats like battleships. She is an Alan Buchanan design, so she sails very well with good sea keeping qualities.
The present owner did a full restoration on her in 2005 which included rebuilding the cockpit. She had her hull and decks repainted in 2009 and the rudder hinges and interior have been refurbished. The engine has recently been serviced.
It is not often a boat of this age is presented in such good condition....
