SEALINE’S NEW F-SERIES FLAGSHIP

Sealine will unveil their new F-Series flagship, the F46, at this year’s PSP Southampton International Boat Show. This top of the range F-Series flybridge motor yacht will lead the design philosophy for future F-series models. In line with Sealine’s latest models (T60 Aura, SC47 and SC35) the F46 reflects the best of modern British boat design.

The F46 has an open plan feel throughout. Each area of the boat seamlessly connects, from the cockpit through to the airy lower deck, making maximum use of space and light and creating a very social and relaxing environment.

A unique and flexible entertaining area has been created between the cockpit and saloon which are both on an integrated single deck. Separated by a set of bi-folding double glass doors, the two areas can be opened up and transformed into one large and very sociable space or kept closed and used as two separate areas. The furniture in each has been specifically designed to work together.

The saloon area has symmetrical L shaped seating to port and starboard, which is complimented with space to seat six in the cockpit. Two skylights in the saloon and cockpit flood the whole area with natural light.

The link from the upper saloon area to the lower deck is also flooded with light from an airy atrium which offers a unique 360 degree panoramic view. There is a large very well equipped galley opposite a raised diner which is located directly under the atrium. The diner, with its easy-to-lower table and removable cushions, can be converted into an occasional double berth.

The large forward cabin has separate shower and toilet compartments and the full beam master cabin also has separate ensuite facilities plus a chaise.

The flybridge with its curved wrap around windscreen is a much larger space than on any other flybridge boat of a similar size. Perfect for entertaining there is space for 10 in the full beam upper dining area plus a large wet bar, grill, ice-maker and cool box. Two C shaped sun loungers are symmetrically positioned either side of the helm seat. This creates a very social area and by changing the back cushions the seating can be turned into triple forward facing seats.

Designed for enjoyable cruising with friends and family, the F46 has an identical hull to that used on the successful SC47 launched last year. The wide beam facilitates more internal space whilst increasing the stability of the boat.

The proven hull ensures an extremely stable cruising experience at all speeds. An automatic trim tab system maintains an ideal trim angle whilst an integrated stern lifting surface reduces the planing hump angles and increases acceleration. The hull has been specifically designed to take advantage of a pod drive propulsion system, such as Cummins MerCruiser Zeus or Volvo Penta IPS.  This in turn is complimented with a joystick docking system available from both the lower and upper helm.

The hull comes in a choice of colours – white, yellow, brown and blue with the pillars in the distinctive dark brown. The interior is characterised by natural finishes – walnut is the finish for the furniture with leathers and linen style fabrics in ivory and duck egg blue plus accents of plum, chocolate and lime green.

The starting price for the F46 with 2 x Cummins MerCruiser Diesel QSB 5.9 @ 480 hp (960hp total), Zeus pod drive engine is £399,950 ex vat.
