Web Developer - .NET – Salary Depending on Experience

Web Developer - ASP.Net/VB.Net – Southampton City Centre – Initially, this will be a 6 month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. Salary depending on experience.

If this sounds like your ideal job and you have extensive .NET Development experience, keep reading.

Essential Skills:

Havegoodexperience in ASP.NET, (Preferably VB.NET), SQL server 2000/2005/2008, HTML, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, IIS and Windows 2008 Server management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Project management software experience
  • Flash / ActionScript experience
  • An understanding of good SEO practices
  • Experience developing multi-lingual web sites

Responsibilities:

  • Using own initiative and commercial experience to build corporate websites from approved creative using current web standards in HTML and CSS.
  • Integrating with the development team of TheYachtMarket.com to further develop its range of online services and products.
  • Exploring new development techniques and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
  • Supporting customers and being confident when client facing.
  • Able to cope with steep learning curves when emerging into new markets.
