Web Developer - ASP.Net/VB.Net – Southampton City Centre – Initially, this will be a 6 month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. Salary depending on experience.

Essential Skills:
Havegoodexperience in ASP.NET, (Preferably VB.NET), SQL server 2000/2005/2008, HTML, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, IIS and Windows 2008 Server management.
Desirable Skills:
- Project management software experience
- Flash / ActionScript experience
- An understanding of good SEO practices
- Experience developing multi-lingual web sites
Responsibilities:
- Using own initiative and commercial experience to build corporate websites from approved creative using current web standards in HTML and CSS.
- Integrating with the development team of TheYachtMarket.com to further develop its range of online services and products.
- Exploring new development techniques and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
- Supporting customers and being confident when client facing.
- Able to cope with steep learning curves when emerging into new markets.
