Waveney Valley Boats was founded in 1968, by Christopher and David Bromley, with an additional division for brokerage sales and client funds which was Waveney Valley Boats Brokerage. Anglia Yacht Brokers was then set up in 1992 to form a secure, independent company for clients funds offering a strict clients bank account with the full standing of a solicitors. This is unique for yacht brokers, as many only have so called client accounts without this security. Both are now limited companies, but have remained a family concern.
We are now situated at St. Olaves marina after moving from our site on the River Waveney in Beccles. Waveney Valley Boats offers a range of services for the marine leisure trade. These include moorings, craning/launching, storage, boat building and repairs, inboard and outboard engine repairs. We will also arrange transportation, finance and insurance to ensure that you, the client, receive the best service possible.
Anglia Yacht Brokers is our boat sales company. We sell crafts of all types on behalf of their owners on a commission basis. We have a wide range of crafts on our books, lying all over Gt Britain, some in Europe and even as far as the Middle East. Anglia Yacht Brokers specialises in family cruisers for inland use, as well as sea going. However our range is sufficiently wide to enable us, we hope, to supply you with any craft you require. With our experience, knowledge and professionalism, we aim to provide you with the best service we can, whether you are looking to sell, buy or part/exchange.

Marina
St Olaves Marina is situated on the River Waveney, near Haddiscoe, where the Waveney joins the New Cut. It was purchased in 1996 and has gone under major renovation.
With this marina we will be able to offer 150 moorings with facilities in a secure basin where the pontoon moorings are independently designed so they rise and fall with the tide, plus additional river moorings. At present there are 75 moorings with more being built.
On site there is a new shower and toilet block, electricity to the pontoon berths, security gates operated on a swipe card system and a restaurant, which also offers bed and Breakfast.
This Marina has been so popular that nearly all the berths are filled but at present we are adding another 8 pontoons and will be extending the basin very soon to offer another 40 berths, all floating pontoons. The Marina is very friendly and there is a choice of inland cruising in different directions. A short cruise takes you to the coast. We now also offer hard standing at the Marina, as well as anti fouling, pressure washing and engineering services. We have planning permission to build a workshop, which will hold two 50ft flybridge cruisers and hope to move our sales office from Beccles in the near future.
