The Palma International Boat Show on course!
22 March 2005 - 15:45
The Palma International Boat Show, which will be held at the Moll Vell from 30 April to 8 May, returns for another year with renewed energy and full to the brim, something which will probably force the organisers to carry out a series of measures to solve the space limitation problem.
To date, the main external promotion campaigns for the show have already been carried out, with commercial and promotional activities aimed at professionals from the sector, the communications media and visitors to the Barcelona Boat Show, London Boat Show, Genoa Boat Show and Düsseldorf Boat Show.
These activities have ensured coverage for the Palma Boat Show at the most important forums in Europe, the ones which bring together the largest numbers of professional visitors, together with production and boating services companies.
As information of interest, it should be pointed out that, from the survey held among regular exhibitors, space is fully reserved, even to the point of overbooking. This situation could be resolved in the next few weeks, with the inclusion of external areas to house more products on show, above all in the floating area. Another suggestion is to analyse and filter participants to include only companies that are really committed to the sector.
Among this year's new features is a series of publicity activities and debates, with sporting trials, together with the presentation of some initiatives, such as the new Ports de les Illes Balears company, which within a relatively short time will be responsible for managing marina facilities in the ports of the autonomous community.
In the most dynamic and profitable sailing centre in all of the Mediterranean: the Island of Majorca, in the Balearic Islands. Lands with the tang of the sea where more than 20,000 vessels are based and 45,000 put into port every year, driven by the sole desire of sailing through the best waters in the Mediterranean. A great international exhibition fundamentally based in the magnificent marina, making the Palma International Exhibition true projection of the sailing vocation which has made this island the origin of one of the most competitive markets specialised in nautical products throughout the continent. An exhibition for direct sales, where everything has that special tang of the sea.
