First conceived in 1965 the original 12 was designed, to pull a skier from a deep water start with only an 18hp Johnson. The elegant and efficient lines were then extended to a 15 version to comfortably take a family out through the harsh waters off Hurst Castle in the Solent.
The 15 was then taken up for racing winning the Class III Offshore Championship in its first year.
From there further famous wooden race boats were produced such as Bewitched, La Sorciere and Jersey Sunshine who completed races such as the Cowes Torquay, Putney Calais and Round the Isle of Man with formidable results.
Production was moved to GRP in the early seventies by David Harber of Scorpio Craft and a 21 cabin cruiser was added to the range.
Now after a gap of twenty years the company is being re-launched by Kathy daughter of the designer and her boat builder husband Phillip, with some further interesting additions to the range.
