Ijmuiden Boat Show
21 January 2005 - 19:28
The HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show 2005 will be a source of inspiration for exhibitors and visitors alike and cover the history and future of water sports. Naturally, there will be a repeat of such successful events as the HISWA Award, the HISWA Boat of the Year Competition, Delta Lloyd Sail Experience, the Maritime History Pavilion, the Chameleon Village (known to young readers of the novels of Hotze de Roos), Uncle Kos Harbour Caf and the Boat Building Days (an opportunity for visitors to build their own boat). The Do-It-Yourself Island, with the professional boat building demonstration, will be part of an even larger event in which Delft University of Technology and other technical colleges play an important role. This Knowledge Island and other new events will provide a powerful boost for the 50th HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show. More information about the HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show 2005 can be found at www.hiswa.nl.
