How easy is it to reinforce the transom on a mirror to take a small outboard?

Looking to buy (cheaply) a sailing dinghy that we can put an outboard on so husband can also fish off it.

has to be small and light as we will need to carry it down a pebbly beach to launch it each time so thought a mirror would be ideal.

but would probably need to reinforce the transom of any mirror we bought and want to know how easy this would be

any thoughts?

it depends on the condition of the trasome. If it is still strong and not falling off, you can just put a few peices of marine ply between the transom and the engine bracket.

It also depends onthe size of engine. a 150hp Black Max is a wee bit big, although if you try it lets film it!

A 2 or 3hp would be fine
