DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS?

Hi, I am new to sailing and have acquired the below dinghy. Is anyone able to tell me what type of dinghy this is and also what year it was made? I've been told it could be either a cherub or hornet, but would like to know for sure. I have no rigging, mast or sail. Any help would be much appreciated, Simon

Hi, what you have is called an Express Dinghy. I just bought one as well. There are some old discussion threads on Preloved site. I found them by googling "Express dinghy". Made in 1970-80s - only about 800 I think. Masts are apparently similar section to Miracle and Sails are apparently similar (poss interchangeable?) with GP 14. I just found a site selling covers for them too. You can use s spinnekar with it - I don't have one.

Hello
You probably know by now but what you have is an Express Dinghy. Don't think there is an association. I recently bought one - not half as smart as yours look tho'
